It may have been, but it is also possible that he did a half dozen pages before he got it.Jim Bradrickhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03497180922922976943noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2565467389318493488.post-39007302975905390692018-01-14T18:27:41.648-08:002018-01-14T18:27:41.648-08:00and indicate the animator.and indicate the animator.Frances Jacobshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12701951352380376001noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2565467389318493488.post-62054894562733607422018-01-14T18:21:42.618-08:002018-01-14T18:21:42.618-08:00I don't know enough about what others assignme...I don't know enough about what others assignments the 9 Old Men got in animation, I've seen drafts indicating those 9 animators on characters that aren't acknowledged for, but there are no drafts of Bambi, Make Mine Music, Fun And Fancy Free, The Aristocats, Robin Hood or the first three Winnie The Pooh shorts available on the web. Andreas, I wish you could type each scene in a sequence from those specified movies and post it on your blog.Frances Jacobshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12701951352380376001noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2565467389318493488.post-89561587099679215822018-01-14T10:22:07.187-08:002018-01-14T10:22:07.187-08:00It's cool that they at least did those flipboo...It's cool that they at least did those flipbooks.<br />I recently got an artbook that is ALL rough pencil sketches, doodles and studies by the japanese animator You Yoshinari. It's 300+ pages with no text, no cleanup, no attempt to tidy up rough parts. It's GREAT, and I wish Disney would release similar books about their great animatorsMarc Hendryhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17549932443429596568noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2565467389318493488.post-65184224200379385872018-01-14T09:33:27.231-08:002018-01-14T09:33:27.231-08:00A sequel book? ;) You've got one guaranteed sa...A sequel book? ;) You've got one guaranteed sale here, in that eventuality.Warren JBhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11743987856127631574noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2565467389318493488.post-20949387984879744682018-01-14T03:06:04.371-08:002018-01-14T03:06:04.371-08:00I agree.I agree.Andreas Dejahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10503659818150293229noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2565467389318493488.post-51625651745192078112018-01-14T02:59:53.971-08:002018-01-14T02:59:53.971-08:00I always thought that we need a book on the lesser...I always thought that we need a book on the lesser known animators like O'Brien, Bob Carlson, Hal King, Harvey Toombs, Eric Clerworth, Clif Nordberg, etc. They were so good in their own rights and we know enough about the 9 Old Men, let's hear about the others too. I wished I had the time and money to make such a book. These drawings of O'brien are as good as any of the 9 Old Men.Sandro Cleuzohttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16358147858891647630noreply@blogger.com
