Think of all the cool funny stuff that could have been done with them. It reminds me a lot of my grandmother. Mix those arms with the final Mama Odie and it would have been more perfect! I really like that hair too!Cant wait to see Scar's early concepts!Yarimhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14943643542701576166noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2565467389318493488.post-45485112204581223192011-12-21T02:12:13.790-08:002011-12-21T02:12:13.790-08:00Wonderful insight into Mama Odie!Wonderful insight into Mama Odie!Amberhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04684036562821485345noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2565467389318493488.post-61452602608712727552011-12-15T19:17:29.163-08:002011-12-15T19:17:29.163-08:00I will show some development art for Gaston and Sc...I will show some development art for Gaston and Scar later.
Matthew, I honestly didn't know if your question was serious. Since you repeated it though...those wrinkles appear on animation drawings, because the artist flips several drawings back and forth to check the fluidity of motion.Andreas Dejahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10503659818150293229noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2565467389318493488.post-19418192379667960542011-12-15T08:37:45.093-08:002011-12-15T08:37:45.093-08:00I love Mama Odie! A Mama Odie/Dr. Facilier showdown would have been amazing, but I guess that wouldn't have fit in the plot so well...
These sketches are beautiful. Very eccentric :D But I liked how you changed to sunglasses and bony arms and legs in the end.
I second Victor's comment up there – do you have any Gaston sketches lying around? Or Scar's too :D
~A very happy Disney fanK.Yanghttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07474980752047842843noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2565467389318493488.post-43378486512915740002011-12-14T12:00:34.136-08:002011-12-14T12:00:34.136-08:00I loved Mama Odie in the film!
