Here is a heck of an assembly of top Disney talent.
The photo was taken during the early 1950ies on a soundstage at the studio.
Walt Disney is getting his miniature train fired up with animation personal looking on.
Standing from left to right are Walt Disney, unknown, producer Harry Tytle, Milt Kahl, Ward Kimball, Ham Luske, Eric Larson, Ollie Johnston and John Lounsbery.
Let me know when they invent time travel, because I'd love to be in on this gathering.
I don't know, Mr. Deja....I think I see you there between Harry and Milt :P http://i17.photobucket.com/albums/b99/afflictedgreen2/1249-154.jpg
ReplyDeleteAhaha! :D What a great group of people in that photo.
DeleteNow, did Walt have a whole floor-sized train set?
Hi Andreas....what a great photo. Walt's train was amazing. It gets me in the mood to fire up my own engine in the backyard (I have an outdoor train garden) but unfortunately, we have a bit of snow on ground up in Alaska! I love the steam engine. Very cool.
ReplyDeleteThat kind of toy would be so great! .. maybe someday..
ReplyDeleteWhat a lot of talent in a single row!
ReplyDeleteAmazing! this picture says a lot about Walt's great passion for the trains. Someday I'll have one like this. And I'ts curious, I saw Walt with his train driver's hat and I got confused when I realized this guy in suit by the left border of the photo... Is he maybe a Clone?
ReplyDeleteHow many children's dreams came from some of those hands
ReplyDeleteIt's so cool to see old photos like that.. :]
