One just can't get enough of them! Vielen dank!
I'm curious, when you study these do you see the spacing without flipping? Or do you still need to flip to see the changes?
I see graphic change without flipping, where Milt is going from one drawing to the next. But the real magic happens when you flip the images.
totally inspired by this... I laid it out in (linearly timed) gif:http://drip.de/?p=3113
Wow, thanks for that flip fest, David. Such beautiful animation.
Thanks so much, Andreas. So, these are Milt's keys. Did he do partial keys to complete the dialogue, or did he leave those to an assistant. It's hard for me to imagine that he would have left control of mouth shapes to someone else :-)
You know...have you seen some of Don Bluth's films? Because somehow some of the designs of "Robin Hood" inspired Bluth for the designs of the rats from "Secret of NIMH" since Bluth worked on "Robin Hood".
Great stuff as always! Andreas did you ever work with Chuck Harvey?
I did, way back in the early 80ies. Great animator.
