More Color!!!

      © Andreas Deja

Each new color scene for our film MUSHKA feels like a Christmas gift. Background paintings and character levels combined result in gorgeous images. These colors here are still too vibrant.
But after we add a color pencil texture plus some film grain everything turns out looking balanced and more muted.
We are closing in on more and more finished color sequences.

In this scene Sarah asks her father if she can keep the tiger cub. To find out about Dad's response you need to stay tooned.

  4. I love Sarah's design so much I just had to do an animation of her myself. Here it is : https://vimeo.com/346398425
Hope you like it! Can't wait for more previews from Mushka.

    1. I checked out your scene. You have nice control over Sarah's facial volumes. But the character moves too much. Next time try and be simpler with the acting.

    2. Thank you so much for checking out my video and for your helpful advice, sir! I'll definitely make it a point to keep my acting simpler and be more prudent with a character's movements in the future. Thank you once again!

  5. Are you coloring in Photoshop or some animation specific program?

    1. Love seeing bits of this through the screen shots, Andreas! Very eager to see the finished film.
I love TVPaint, been using it now for over over 10 years, and use it for almost everything I do in digital drawing/painting. Do you need help finishing up or do you have everyone onboard that you need to finish ? Although I should warn you that I'm working full-time, so I would only be available for a few hours on weekends to help out, but maybe if you get into crunch time near the end? (This is David Nethery , by the way , I don't think my Google profile shows my full name ... do you have my email ?)
