Strangely animation maquettes are often finalized late, toward the end of production, and Mushka is no exception. Hand sculpted by Craig Elliott, cast and hand painted, after a sketch of mine.
Oh wow, that looks gorgeous. Props to Craig for the good work. It's not often that I see these in colour, but the effect on this one is really nice. I hope everything is going well on production.
Amazing how beautifully the rough drawing style translated to sculpture and paint!
Beautiful! This is going to be so worth the wait!
well, it's a cool thing to have at least!
Too bad her big hand doesn't match her skinny leg , it slightly ruined the rather delicate suggested spirit of the character.
That's the first thing I noticed too. But I guess it's how Andreas designed the character, so I trust it will look great in the final film :)
Wow, This turned out great!
The fluid movement of Mushka. The expresssion of Saras face...I love it! :)I like to read "the end of production". Although I know that I doesn't see it right now. :D
Don't not doesn't :D
ABSOLUTELY STUNNING CRAIG!!
With amazing stuff like this, I hope you get around to publishing an art of book for Mushka!
It is in the planning stages.
"The Art of Mushka" - das klingt super! Und irgendwann hoffentlich eine würdige Europapremiere in der Lichtburg, bei der ich von hier sehr gern meine Unterstützung anbiete.
Hi Andreas. Are you going to have some maquetttes available for us animation art collectors?
I am looking into that right now, Sean.
Great! Keep me posted...it is a beautiful maquette and us collectors love to acquire these!
