Mushka and Sarah Maquette

Strangely animation maquettes are often finalized late, toward the end of production, and Mushka is no exception. Hand sculpted by Craig Elliott, cast and hand painted, after a sketch of mine.

  1. Oh wow, that looks gorgeous. Props to Craig for the good work. It's not often that I see these in colour, but the effect on this one is really nice.
I hope everything is going well on production.

  5. Too bad her big hand doesn't match her skinny leg , it slightly ruined the rather delicate suggested spirit of the character.

  6. The fluid movement of Mushka. The expresssion of Saras face...I love it! :)

I like to read "the end of production". Although I know that I doesn't see it right now. :D

  9. "The Art of Mushka" - das klingt super! Und irgendwann hoffentlich eine würdige Europapremiere in der Lichtburg, bei der ich von hier sehr gern meine Unterstützung anbiete.
