Strangely animation maquettes are often finalized late, toward the end of production, and Mushka is no exception. Hand sculpted by Craig Elliott, cast and hand painted, after a sketch of mine.
Oh wow, that looks gorgeous. Props to Craig for the good work. It's not often that I see these in colour, but the effect on this one is really nice. I hope everything is going well on production.
"The Art of Mushka" - das klingt super! Und irgendwann hoffentlich eine würdige Europapremiere in der Lichtburg, bei der ich von hier sehr gern meine Unterstützung anbiete.

ReplyDeletewell, it's a cool thing to have at least!
ReplyDeleteToo bad her big hand doesn't match her skinny leg , it slightly ruined the rather delicate suggested spirit of the character.
ReplyDeleteThat's the first thing I noticed too. But I guess it's how Andreas designed the character, so I trust it will look great in the final film :)
DeleteWow, This turned out great!
ReplyDeletelooks gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteThe fluid movement of Mushka. The expresssion of Saras face...I love it! :)
ReplyDeleteI like to read "the end of production". Although I know that I doesn't see it right now. :D
Don't not doesn't :D
DeleteABSOLUTELY STUNNING CRAIG!!
ReplyDeleteWith amazing stuff like this, I hope you get around to publishing an art of book for Mushka!
