TS Sullivant 6

Another reminder that shows how brilliant Sullivant was with his unique style for caricaturing animals and humans.
Feast your eyes!

  1. The way he had to observe things and take out a completely new interpretation of it, without losing its spirit is simply amazing. I will never complain to see more and more posts about this great master.

  4. I own an original Sullivant 16 x 25in. and am trying to sell it as I have recently lost my job. Any idea what it might be worth or where I could sell it. mulch66@gmail.com

  5. Amazing he started as an artist so late in life! Do you like the Simplicissimus and Jugend artists? I have a run of bound volumes of Simplicissimus and it's like a revelation on every page.

  6. The more I see of Sullivant's drawings, the more I wish someone would put together a big book of his work. Seems crazy that one doesn't exist.

For the time being though, thank you for this - I'm always returning to your TS Sullivant posts!
