Mushka Sketch

                                                                         © Andreas Deja

Here is a little vis dev piece for my film Mushka. The bg/layout is by Peter Moehrle, and captures the sketchbook look of the film very well. So this is could be a final frame from the film.

On a different note, I will have a report a little later on the fantastic "Roger Rabbit Academy Event" from last night.
The film looked great on the big screen, and it was fun to catch up with friends who worked on the movie, wether they were on the panel or in the audience.
We all wished of course that Richard Williams could have been there.

  2. It is just beautiful! Did you draw on the background? Even the production aspects of your short-film are very interesting, I would love to read more about them. Thank you forthe post!

    1. I drew the characters separately, Peter combined them with his BG.

  4. I'm also looking forward to seeing the finish product. Is there any chance that this will be released on home video eventually, specifically on Blu-ray? I'd love to add it to my Blu-ray animation collection!

    1. I suppose the film will be released on Blu-ray eventually.
But first my mind is on producing the best film I possibly can.

  5. The picture looks great Andreas!

I passed by Richard Williams' old animation studio in Soho, London today. It's called "The Farm" now, but I got a kick out of thinking about what happened inside. Perhaps you might share more of your Roger Rabbit experiences sometime :)
