I haven't seen the movie yet, but I am most certainly ok with this interpretation of King Triton for live action. It's kind of funny though to realize that our animated characters were allowed to show much more skin than their life counterparts. Aladdin, Princess Jasmine, Gaston, Triton....
I guess you'd have to do the hair with CG, but he doesn't really look underwater.

And I wouldn't have hated to see more skin on Javier Bardem... Lol

ReplyDeleteIbris Elba should have been King Triton, duh....why not at least make him black??
ReplyDeleteAbout Triton: in the now defunct attraction "Voyage of TLM" in Florida, there was some new animation of Triton for the end scene. Did you animate that? (you can find video of the whole attraction on youtube)
