I always get excited when I come across an animal artist (from the past or from the present) that I never knew anything about. Other artists' styles and points of view can really inspire and make you think about your own approach toward animals.
I am wondering if you have any favorites in the world of animal art. Let me know, it might be somebody I haven't discovered yet.
Here are three great artists whose work I found out about not so long ago.
Eugen Bracht
Elsie Marian Henderson

I'm a fan of the paintings of Charles R. Knight!
ReplyDeleteI was living a peaceful life with my family when I started noticing muscle stiffness and twitching. After seeing a neurologist, I was diagnosed with ALS. The news was overwhelming, and as the disease progressed, I lost the ability to walk and became dependent on a wheelchair.
DeleteA friend recommended the ALS/MND protocol at DR AZIEGBE HERBS CURE. Skeptical but hopeful, I gave it a try. After three months, I noticed significant improvements—less stiffness, fewer twitches, and I could even walk short distances again, to reach out to him contact: DRAZIEGBE1SPELLHOME@GMAIL.COM
It was a life-changing experience that brought back hope I thought I'd lost. This journey reminded me that healing can sometimes come from the most unexpected places.

Thanks, Marc. I will check them out :)
DeleteLet me mention a few candidates for an animal artist that a visitor of this blog might be unaware of:
ReplyDeletePaul Jouve
Manfred Schatz
Raymond de la Nézière
Carol Marine
Of course, most of us will recognise most of them, but being reminded of a good artist can hardly do harm.
Sydney Padua has some skill in that area:

DeleteI am sorry to hear about the passing of Rogers Allers. He will be fondly remembered.
ReplyDeleteHerr Déja, kennen Sie auch den Tiermaler Wilhelm Kuhnert ?
ReplyDeleteJa, Kuhnert ist fantastisch. Habe schon einmal einige seiner Tierbilder auf meinem Blog gezeigt.
Deleteah animal sketching / art.. absolutely love it!
ReplyDeleteive always felt theres a natural affinity to drawing animals and artists/ animators... at one point it was always a side interest that id have whilst sketching at the zoo, if animation didnt work out!...
anyway, some of my faves, for what its worth
joe weatherly (a great nature artist, took his course once in london and truly inspired)
e.h sheppard (love his sketches and his style went from people, animals to book illustrations)
beatrix potter (some great animal sketches in her works also)
glenn vilppu (he helped me once on a squirrel sketch, of course, knows his as well anatomy back to front!)
Irénée Rochard was a great french sculptor. Check him out :)
